This drill bit features carbide inserts with complex geometry brazed onto the cutter body as its cutting portion. It is designed for drilling railway rails, various hard-to-machine materials, and high-alloy steel. Equipped with a Weldon 19 shank, it is used on rail drilling machines, as well as on magnetic and stationary drilling machines with a Weldon 19 shank.
