PARTICULARITIES:
- Automatic feed, which ensures the same chamfer width along the entire length of the workpiece
- If the workpiece or structure is large (for example, a steel sheet), the chamfer remover is attached directly to it without the help of additional devices
- The operator only needs to guide the chamfer from the beginning and remove it at the end of the workpiece
- If you need to chamfer both sides of a sheet, once the chamfer has passed along the top of the part, you just need to turn it over and run it in the opposite direction
- For large volumes of work, it is recommended to use a set of two models: SNS-12 and SNS-12G (the model is made in an “inverted form” - specifically for chamfering the bottom side of the sheet). This makes it possible to process edges on both sides, avoiding labor-intensive manipulations with large and heavy workpieces
- When processing edges on small workpieces, the chamfer is installed on the work table, and the parts are fed manually
- Using special fasteners, the chamfer remover can process the outer edge of a pipe with a diameter of 100 mm and remove the chamfer at an angle of 22.5, 30.0, 35.0, 37.5, 45°
CHAMFER ABILITIES:
The table shows technical data: which chamfer can be removed with the SNS-12 bevel remover, depending on the hardness of the material.
Values based on the table: a – chamfer angle; w – chamfer width; d – chamfer depth (leg); R – metal hardness;

Example: you need to remove a chamfer at an angle of 30
° on a billet of carbon steel with a hardness of R = 50 kg/mm2. Required data from the upper table, they are given for carbon steel. In the leftmost column (degrees: a) there is a value of 30°. From this, we calculate R = 50 kg/mm2 to the left by row to column. The values we find are chamfer width 10mm and chamfer depth 8.5mm. That is, under the given conditions, you can get a chamfer up to 10 mm wide and 8.5 mm deep.

COMPLETE-SET:
- CHP-12 is manufactured as standard for chamfering at an angle of 30°
- To remove the chamfer at other angles, additional devices are used for each of the angles 22.5°, 35.0°, 37.5°, 45.0°
- Models with the "G" index have a universal angle device that allows you to smoothly adjust the angle in the range from 25° to 45°
