The formation of the pipe end profile is carried out using an oxygen gas cutter, which moves around the pipe with an emphasis on the profiling “saddle”, which determines the shape of the profile. The ability to install the cutter at an angle of up to 45° allows for simultaneous chamfering for welding.
The machines are equipped with gas cutters designed to use propane or acetylene as fuel gas. The cutters are equipped with high-speed turbine nozzles, which provide high cleanliness and cutting accuracy at high speeds.
The cutter is moved using an asynchronous electric motor with a gear reducer, which ensures a constant cutting speed and high smoothness of the working carriage of the machine.
