►DESCRIPTION

The system enables reliable, repeatable, high‑quality stainless steel welding without oxidation

A 36" pipe purges below 0.1% oxygen in under 10 minutes; smaller pipes purge faster

The Rapid Purge™ system is durable and reusable, reducing costs

The system saves time, gas, and money

Typical purge times are under 10 minutes

The thru‑bore design minimizes the purge area and gas use

Friction‑free coatings allow easy movement through pipes and bends

Ready to use: connect to regulated gas supply, flow up to 80 l/min

A luminous strip ensures quick, precise alignment to the weld center

Inflatable dams and hose are heat‑resistant and insulated for up to 250 °C (482 °F)

►FUNCTIONING

Comprises a tandem inflatable dam system connected by an umbilical hose and collar to reduce the volume being purged

A gas exhaust valve is installed between the primary and secondary dam, along with an auxiliary argon purge line

This system valve is pre-set, making it ready to use ‘straight out of the box’

Each system is covered with heat protective material, so that the higher temperatures closer to the weld do not damage the system
